After six years from being away from the world of womans wear and his exit from Creative Director of Gucci, Tom Ford is back with a major, styled studded, glamourous womans wear collection. He showed his collection to a very select group of fashion insiders on Septermber 12th during fashion week inn New York City, banned the press from speaking or showing. It is only now that Tom Ford is ready to reveal one of his many master pieces to the world. It is so glamorous, stunning and inspired by the 70's. His collection was modeled by some of his most clseest friends like Julianne Moore who stared in his movie "A Single Man" amoung others like Miss Karla Kloss and Abbey Lee.

I hear them say, ‘God, I can’t find that anywhere!’ ” Women friends had been “begging” him to make them suits as soon as they heard he was starting a menswear line; he couldn’t find anything to buy his mother; it all built up. “I want this to be somewhere a woman knows she can go when she wants a great jacket—not a fake expensive jacket, something that has intrinsic value. I don’t think fashion has to change every five minutes. I’d like these to be clothes you can wear for a long time—ten, 20 years; pass on to your daughter. Why buy vintage when you can open your own closet!” It’s not for the Gucci girl he left behind. “At this point?” he considers. “She’d be too trendy.”
